Reporting to the Vice President, Institutional Advancement, the Assistant Vice President of Advancement Operations is a new leadership role in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Teachers College, Columbia University (Teachers College or TC). We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and creative leader with stellar listening skills and a proven track record developing, nurturing, facilitating, and reinforcing best practices around operations and technical applications. The Assistant Vice President of Advancement Operations provides supervision and direction to team members furthering the mission of Teachers College through the goals of Institutional Advancement. Leads the overall strategy for Advancement Services, Research, Analytics/Reporting, Data Quality, Prospect Management and Business Management. Works closely with all levels of staff, including senior management, in Institutional Advancement and the College. Supports the Vice President of Institutional Advancement with all operational matters as assigned.

The Edward D. Mysak Clinic for Communication Disorders within the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences is seeking a Clinic Secretary to provide clerical assistance to the daily clinic operations, students, and staff.   Reporting to the Clinic Director, the Clinic Secretary will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office operations of the Clinic including, but not limited to, receiving clients and visitors, answering telephone calls, and delivering telephone messages efficiently to and from clients and staff. The incumbent will carry out the institutional, department, and team mission while applying appropriate local, state, and federal laws prohibiting discrimination and denying individuals with disabilities equal opportunity to receive program benefits and services. As part of the highly collaborative and communicative Diversity, Community Affairs, and Equity team, the Director will provide expertise and support to the institution in developing and implementing effective services and programs.
